State Tournament, 3rd Place, Class 2A

Behind team leaders Jack Franklin and Jared Schuckman, the Pioneers placed 3rd at the state meet. The team won their seventh consecutive Intercity championship, and finished 2nd at both regionals and sectionals. “We ran hard, like we had something the prove the entire year even when we weren’t running our best or doing as well as we wanted,” said Franklin. The boys averaged 40-50 miles of training per week.
